PAPERMAKING WORKSHOP

This workshop will take place at Constellation Studios.

Thursdays, January 21, 28, February 4, 11, 6:30-9 p.m.

BEGINNING SEWING

This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of sewing. The first week will cover hand sewing and seaming essentials, week two will start machine sewing with making fitted masks. The last two weeks will be dedicated to making pajama pants from a simple pattern.

Tuesdays, February 9, 16, 23, March 2, 6:30-9 p.m.

PRINT YOUR OWN FABRIC

Students in this class will have a blast learning about different methods they can use to create their own repeating pattern fabric designs! Both screen printing and block printing methods will be covered. Unbleached muslin fabric will be provided but students are welcome to bring additional fabric of their own.

Wednesdays, February 10, 17, 24, March 3, 6:30-9 p.m.

LEARN TO PRINT ON PAPER, TOTES, & TEE'S

Students in this class will have a blast learning about different methods they can use to create their own clothing designs! Both screen printing and block printing methods will be covered. Tote bags and plain white t-shirts are provided. Students are welcome to bring additional items to print from home or the thrift store.

YOUTH T-SHIRT & TOTE BAG DESIGN

Students in this class will have a blast learning about different methods they can use to create their own clothing designs! Both screen printing and block printing methods will be covered. EXPERIMENTAL EMBROIDERY

This class will cover both traditional and non-traditional embroidery techniques that can be used on clothing, art, or other projects.

Thursdays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 6:30-9 p.m.

UPCYCLING CLOTHES

Learn to fashion your own clothes! If you can sew a mask on your machine but are not quite sure where to start with clothing, this class is for you. The first two-week students will work on ways to alter clothing that doesn’t fit quite right. The last two weeks students will be working on more self-directed upcycling projects.

Mondays, April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 6:30-9 p.m.

SEWING FROM A PATTERN

Learn to sew your own clothes! If you can sew a mask on your machine but are not quite sure where to start with patterns, this class is for you. The first week students will learn what to look for when buying patterns, how to read a pattern, and start cutting out the pattern and fabric for a simple button-down shirt. The last three weeks students will be working on your own button-down shirt project that was started during the first week, with guidance from the instructor.
